According to TeamTalk, Karim Benzema, a striker for Al-Ittihad, is being considered by Arsenal for a massive loan transfer.

Nevertheless, it’s known that Chelsea, the Gunners’ London rivals, have also spoken about a move for the Frenchman.

After leaving Real Madrid as a free agent in June of last year, Benzema signed with the Saudi Pro League team.

The 36-year-old, nevertheless, is said to be considering a return to European football as he is not content in the Middle East.

If they can get the seasoned striker for a short time, Arsenal would be interested in signing Benzema.

Given Gabriel Jesus’ and Eddie Nketiah’s poor play in front of goal this season, Mikel Arteta needs a new No. 9.

Even if the manager of the Gunners has downplayed rumours that the team may recruit a striker in January, the Premier League team is still open to deals.
